Aims and Scope

Islamic Inquiries is a multidisciplinary publication devoted to the examination of all aspects of Islam and the Islamic world.

Special attention has been paid to works on:

history,

politics,

sociology,

philosophy,

international relations, as well as ethics.

This journal primarily seeks to help promote mutual understanding and dialogue among the Islamic Denominations so as to prepare the ground for peaceful coexistence. It is concerned to place Islam and Islamic tradition as the main focus of academic research and to pay attention to its various aspects; to create a context for the study of Islam and Muslim societies in their global context; to encourage interdisciplinary studies in the Muslim world that are international and comparative. To promote dissemination, exchange and discussion of research findings.
