Peer Review Process

Articles submitted to Islamic Inquiries are initially evaluated for compliance with the journal’s mission and readiness for external review. Those submissions that are not in line with the journal’s mission or are not yet ready for external review, will be returned to the author. At least, two external reviews are required for an editorial decision. External review is double-blind. Where the initial reviewers disagree on the merit of submission, the work will be sent to a third reviewer.
